How this is calculated
Your bill is converted to units using the TGERC domestic (LT-I) tariff for FY 2026-27, including slab rates, fixed and customer charges and electricity duty. Fuel surcharge is not included. System size assumes 4 units per kW per day. Savings are your current bill minus your bill after net metering. Subsidy follows PM Surya Ghar: ₹30,000 per kW up to 2 kW, ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW, maximum ₹78,000. CO₂ uses the CEA grid emission factor of 0.727 kg per unit. If you receive Gruha Jyothi free power, talk to us for an exact estimate.

Common questions
How much roof space do I need?
Roughly 80–100 sq ft of shade-free roof per kW. A typical 3 kW home system needs about 300 sq ft.
Will it work during the monsoon?
Yes. Output is lower on cloudy days, but the system still generates, and sunny months make up for it across the year.
What happens to extra power I produce?
With net metering, unused units go to the grid and are adjusted against your bill.
How long does installation take?
Installation itself takes 1–2 days. Net-meter approval from the DISCOM usually takes a few more weeks, and we follow it up for you.
